Francis Wamonje
Research Technician Unit: Segolip Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Francis Wamonje is a research technician in the Segolip Unit providing technical support in genotyping and sequencing. He joins the Hub from CDC, Nairobi where he was attached to the International Emerging Infections Programme. At CDC, he worked in the BSL3 laboratory and key duties revolved around processing of sentinel surveillance, outbreak and clinical samples. Francis has just completed a Masters degree in Zoology (Immunology) from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the same university. His key competencies include; Real time and conventional PCR, Immunological Assays, Cell culture and Data management. |
