He provides systems administration for the Unix and Linux systems installed at the ILRI Kenya campus and maintains the High performance computing cluster (HPC), providing technical support to scientists and students accessing the research computing facility. He has vast experience in LAN/WAN networking and Linux Administration. Prior to joining ILRI, he worked with Mobile Planet Ltd, a Premium Rate Provider(VAS-PRS) for GSM as a system and support engineer. Magochi holds a Bsc in Computer Science and Technology from Maseno University. |
