Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Lucy Muthui is a Research Technician attached to the Sequencing, Genotyping, OligoSynthesis and Proteomics (SegoliP) Unit, formally Sequencing Unit. The unit offers support services to core research projects at the International Livestock Institute (ILRI). It also extends these services to other research institutions in its environs. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Egerton University, Kenya. Lucy took up this position in 2002 and has since acquired expertise in the affiliate units. She was in charge of the Oligonucleotide Synthesis Unit before its closure, awaiting refurbishment. Lucy has also been instrumental in the implementation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), part of the BecA initiative, to manage vast amounts of laboratory information. |
