 The BecA Hub and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) convened a workshop on technical/research paper writing. The five-day journal article writing workshop was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 15 – 21 November. The aim of the workshop was to empower the African scientific community to lead the coming agricultural revolution by communicating research findings in reputed peer-reviewed journals. The training was conducted by Scriptoria, a UK-based company that provides development-related communications services. The workshop had 20 participants drawn from all over Africa.
