This is a great effort of Getinet Mekuriaw. Ethiopia is well know, basically, for entry of indigenous breeds to African countries. And the country had above 11 well characterized and more than this uncharacterized but different breeds of goat. The work of the Getinet will help the country to work on the usage of these goat breeds so as to improve the livelihood of the smallholder farmers; and will be a better lesson for other African and Asian countries. Great thanks for BecA-ILRI, to be with Getinet Mekuriaw.
