This is a very good opportunity for lab technicians and assistants.
Just wish to know if everything ie, travel, accommodation, etc will entirely taken care of by the sponsors of the workshop

Dear Sir/Madam
I am project manager of MIT plant tissue Culture in Ethiopia. we have very huge laboratory in horn of Africa with annual production capacity of 40 million plantlets. this laboratory is having different equipments and laboratory set up. I am really interested in your training as it will help me in managing the whole system smoothly. But Since I am project manager the letter of recommendation can't be issued by my self. So shall I do. Is there any possibility to bring it from Human resource department of our institute. Hoping to hear your response soon.

It is a move in the right direction. Laboratory technologists and technicians need to update themselves regularly lest they begin doing practicals based on their individual believes or procedures conjured up by a themselves which turn up to be far removed from the accepted norm.

Professional scientists as well need this training so that they can guide the learners under their instructions well. besides, an 'un-oiled vehicle develops friction' therefore the promotion of personal efficiency is paramount in doing research-know the equipment you are using. For instance, I have longed for Phase Contrast Microscopy and Fluorescence Microscopy pieces of equipment for a very
long time for use during my practical classes.
